Picture

In collaboration with local businesses, we offer a program for 18-24 year olds who have an interest in technology, how it works and the career choices it offers.  Participants will have the opportunity to be a member of a help-desk team supporting customers and solving real-world software and hardware problems while earning an A+ Certification!
Start IT’s mission is to provide a diverse, underrepresented population, looking to change their life’s path, entry-level information technology and life skills preparing them to enter the workforce.  The public and private partnership of mentors,      businesses and educators helps participants develop a core skill set that can pivot to any career through paid training, internships, and hands-on, real-world experiences.

In tech, you don’t need to have 10-plus years of experience.  Technology advances happen so quickly.  After graduating from the program, participants could expect to make $24,000-$30,000 per year at an entry level position.” ~ Michael Polzin, CEO of Leeward Business Advisors
